"Sandstone Butterfly Sculpture"
This enameled and polychromed sandstone sculpture represents a butterfly placed on a rock, the wings are folded down. The work is typical of the Art Nouveau period with its simple curves, inspired by nature as well as sober colors such as beige, brown and green. The sculpture is not signed but we can bring this work closer to that of Mougins. Note a small chip on one of the antennas see photo. For more information, please feel free to contact us.
