Gustave Patriarche : "around Trouville"

Gustave Patriarche (1909-2001) produced oils, gouaches and watercolors almost everywhere in France and the Maghreb, in a spirit bringing him closer to painters of Poetic Reality, colorful but nevertheless subtle, dealing with landscapes, nudes or representations of Small Trades of 'a tender and amazed look. I finish with this large gouache describing a church in a hilly and green landscape which, despite the stylization that the gouache requires is nevertheless rich in the nuances of this warm light of early summer.
Signed, located ("Environs de Trouville") dated 1956 and signature stamp on the back.
The sheet measures 50 X 65 cm.
