"Provencal Wedding Cabinet"
Rectangular in shape, in solid walnut wood. It opens in front by two doors with two molded panels, the cross is largely carved with laurel branches. The false frame is carved over its entire height, an urn placed on a pedestal in its center, garlands of oak twigs on both sides. The cornice is arched, in its center a pediment decorated with knots, ribbons, a basket in a medallion. The lower crosspiece is perforated and sculpted in the center of a tureen or urn surrounded by laurel branches and acanthus leaves. The sides are with two panels, the front uprights are fluted and end with winding feet. Nice proportion for this Louis XVI transition style wardrobe early XIX th.
