Adorned with a bundle of flags, floral motifs, an imperial eagle and a legion of honor. Curved blade with flat back engraved with "Mre D'armes de Chatt Cavrie Mle 1867", hollow sides, gutter. Scabbard in chased and gilded brass, with two hooks, decorated with weapon trophies and plant motifs on one side. Bracelet with laurel frieze decorations. Dart decorated with palmettes and flowers. BE Presented with a major drum harness in leather covered with scarlet cloth. Bordered with braids "Cul de dé" in silver trimmings and in the center of two flat braids in golden trimmings. Lion muzzle, shield, pomegranate and silver ties. With these ebony sticks in silver mounts. (small tissue restorations). Ref: 13 40
