Diameter: 33.5 cm / Weight: 1.000g
Our beautiful Art-Nouveau dish in polychrome porcelain represents what seems to be a landscape of the Vosges (subject often represented by the great glassmakers and ceramists of this artistic movement of the end of the XIXth century ).
You can discover a mountain lake with steep banks and trees of conifers where two sailing boats sail under a soft light in the sun veiled by clouds.
I specify and I draw your attention to the thickness and the quality of the enamel of this dish as usual for the pieces of this ceramist (this is barely visible in the photos).
According to its invoice, this dish seems to come from the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres (a plate with a similar work is identified as the famous Sèvres manufacture on a catalog selling the Gazette of the Hôtel Drouot).
** VERY GOOD CONDITION ** (just to signal a withdrawal of enamel firing at the junction of the bottom and the wing; see the last photo on this subject).
