"Baoulé Statue"
Among the traditional figurative statues, this effigy embodies a Baoulé ancestor, Baulé whose hair is gathered in braided shells. The protruding patterns on the body and face correspond to the usual tribal scarifications. Established on a small promontory, the character adopts the characteristics of a Baule dignitary, Baoulé. Warm brown patina with mahogany reflections.
