It was dated 1650. The original hand of the master is an order from the brotherhood of lapidaries and diamond dealers from the quai des silversmiths of Paris intended for the Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral. A variant offered at Albi Cathedral is still on display and there is a third, the one offered here. It is in the hand of a student from the workshop.
