"Pair Of Candelabras: Winged Women. Restoration Period, Around 1840"
Pair of bronze and gilded bronze candelabra, finely chiseled. The winged women are treated with a black patina in good condition. They carry on their heads an antique vase filled with fruit from which emerge the three golden candle-holder branches formed by cobras. The base, also gilded, is finely decorated (floral motifs including acanthus and laurel leaves). On one of the candelabras, one of the bobeches has been replaced by a more modern and simpler bobèche; with this exception, both parts are in perfect condition.
