French school of the XIXth century. Magnificent face, hands and light. Signed work: Tony Dury. Dated 1845. Antoine Dury (dit Tony) was a Lyonnais painter of the XIXth century. He was a pupil of Bonnefond and Picot at the Beaux-Arts in Lyon and Paris. He has exhibited portraits in Paris since 1845. Oil on canvas. Rentoilée.
