Christ says crucifix from the bottom of an 18th century ivory bed carved on a blackened wooden cross, placed on a background of red silk brocatelle (Tassinari and Chatel) in a frame at the end of the Louis XIV period or early l Regency period, richly carved and gilded with gold leaf. Sculpture of the 18th century, our Christ conforms to the requirements of the Washington Convention of 1947 concerning the ivory trade. Our Christ is in good condition. Two broken fingers on the right hand - he is over 200 years old. No other shortage. The Regency frame has kept its original gilding in very good condition and has been cleaned by our gilder.
