"Sculptures En Terre Polychrome Signés Ernest Blot (1860-1916)"

Polychrome terracotta sculptures forming a couple of oriental characters, signed Ernest Blot, sculptor born in Boulogne-sur-mer, son of the sculptor Eugène Blot.
He probably worked the land with his father and brothers. He married in Ostend on September 3, 1887 with Marie Joséphine Cornu, from this marriage a daughter was born.
Ernest is a sculptor in Ostend, while his father is in Rosendaël-les-Dunkerque.
From 1890 he had a workshop in Boulogne-sur-Mer and left Belgium definitively in 1892.
