"Auctioneer's Writing Desk Wallet - Empire Period"
Auctioneer's writing portfolio in red morocco leather decorated with small irons. The hinges and keyholes are in openwork silver, chiseled and monogrammed, a few volutes on the back, visible in the photos. Period lock with triangle key (we do not have the key) compartmentalized interior to put inkwells and pens. Old manufacturer's label and stamped brand, visible in the photos. It bears the inscription on a green morocco "Guyot Commissar Priseur à Paris". It is embellished inside a pocket and two dividers. It presents friction and lacks in particular the bellows on both sides. Beautiful Empire period object.
