Pendulum In Gilt Bronze According To A Model By Jean-joseph De Saint Germain

A pendulum in gilded and chased bronze embellished with acanthus leaves, stylized scrolls, shells framing a palmette. The whole rests on scrolls decorated with leaves. The upper part overhanging the movement is enhanced by scrollwork made up of foliage and a bouquet of fruit. The sides are also embellished with large stylized palmettes. The movement is signed with "Masson". The white enamel dial consists of Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes. The openwork needles are in gilded and chiseled bronze, one forming stylized arabesques indicating the minutes, and for the small hand, it forms a fleur-de-lis indicating the hours.
