Very beautiful watercolor by Paul Tavernier (1852-1943). In 1879 Paul Tavernier moved to Barbizon, he participated in the decoration of the Fontainebleau golf course, he also produced a large painting: Louis XV on the hunt, for the theater. He received a bronze medal at the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1900. The watercolor represents a relay of dogs from the Lebaudy crew who hunted in the Fontainbleau forest from 1891 to 1936.
