A pupil of Luc Simon at the National School of Fine Arts in Paris, Michel Cadoret exhibited in 1935 at the Salon d'Automne and the Salon des Tuileries. After the war, in Paris, he was exhibited at the Roux-Hentschel gallery, became friends with Picasso but quickly suffocated in the capital. He impressed by the vigor of his style and his colors. The figure of the concentric circle becomes predominant in his work, with the use of pure tones. In 1972, he set up his workshop in Cerny. In 1974, a retrospective was dedicated to him at the Saint-Germain en Laye museum. Work framed by a black American box.
