Gouache on cardboard signed lower left "Lanos".François Lanos, painter, French School, 20th century. He exhibited several times in 1945, notably at the Salon des Tuileries.
He made the Normandy Coast one of his main sources of inspiration both for its oils and for its numerous gouaches and watercolors.
On the back a handwritten inscription: "The sea from the cliff in very good weather".
"The last walk".
