"Batak Medicine Horn"
Pupuk Naga morasang ... translation: medicine horn containing for lezs magic potions of the shaman. Water buffalo horn carved with a protective lizard fitted with a horsehair rope. The wooden origone cap is carved with the image of a benevolent vodation ancestor. Authentic tribal object, nothing to do with tourist factories, nor with ornamental buffalo horns. This object was brought back with others at the turn of the century and has remained in the diplomat's family ever since.
