"Victor Adam: Pair Of Large "horse Racing" Lithographs"
Painter and early illustrator, Victor Adam (1801-1866) left us countless lithographs, by him or according to his drawings, unanimously praised by his contemporaries, especially those on the subject of the horse world. We are just presenting a large pair, lithographed by Guillon after the Master's drawings, "The Arrival" and "The Jump from the Wall". Probably hung on differently exposed walls, one is completely photo-oxidized, while the other has remained very fresh but very pitted, while their frames have been tanned. However, their decorative power has remained great and I therefore do not hesitate to offer them to you. Sheets 46 X 62 cm, images 36 X 55, frame 52 X 68 cm. Do not hesitate to ask us by email or telephone for additional information or photos. We have many objects and paintings to restore in our shop / Capernaum / depot in Pau where I let myself be overwhelmed and for which we favor the sale on the spot, preferably in lots. Come help us tidy up by buying! Other photos and many other objects in our shops in Pau and Biarritz and on our site: galerielhoste.com.
