Persian Carpet, Heriz Region, 302 Cm X 400 Cm, Hand Knotted Wool, Circa 1980, In Good Condition

Wool carpet hand-knotted from workshops in the Heriz region, Iran but with a medallion decoration placed on a deep red field, surrounded by four large spandrels on a cream background, the whole belted with a wide border.
The patterns posed in a regular and random manner, are of Caucasian inspiration, by finding there a panel specific to these regions, stars, medallions with staircase decorations, guls ....
The very bright shades present are red , green, cream, pale blue, blue and make up a beautiful harmony on this carpet.
