Mail Carrier Pocket In Red Morocco, 19th C.
Clutch to carry or deliver mail to flap, in red morocco, decorated with gilded iron of fleur-de-lis in arabesques. Inside, two compartments, and a smaller flap. A bellows made it possible to transport several folds. At the back, a passer-by allowing to hang the pocket. Undoubtedly French work from the 19C, perhaps before. Usual wear.
