Art deco period neoclassical chandelier in solid walnut. It has a lot of sculpture from the regency period: Stylized cartridges, the base and acanthus leaves, gadroons, winding in s, the stylized baluster, the pigtail and the palmette. The top dome is made of brass. It is in 5 branches. It has a beautiful light indoors. Théodore Chanut is a Lyon cabinetmaker renowned for being inspired by his predecessors. His work is very neat, accomplished (no trace of gouge). This chandelier was in his family. Screw bulb. Revised electricity. Possible delivery not included in the price.
