Jean Toth est born in 1899 in Zalaegerszeg in Hungary and died in Paris in 1972. At 19 he moved to Paris. He frequents La Grande Chaumière in the Montparnasse district. Very quickly this artist became famous thanks to the work carried out for the Opéra Garnier. From the legendary ballets of the Paris Opera of the 40s and 50s to popular regional and international dances, dance is his main source of inspiration. Thanks to the gaze of a passionate connoisseur, his brightly colored works stand out for their movement and dynamism.
