Biography
Listed by Schildof as miniature painter for his watercolor portraits, Finck is a portrait painter who worked mainly with oil, like our painting.
Pupil of Anne-Louis Girodet at the École des Beaux-Arts where he entered July 6, 1818, he exhibited at the Salon from 1833 to 1864.
