The finely carved, gilded wood mirror was made in Piedmont (northern Italy) in the eighteenth century.
It has a central rectangular and curved frame, molded and carved with floral and foliated motifs. The frame consists of three concentric sections. The interior has mirror applications that give depth and light to the frame.
From the upper half of the frame there is an important perforated cimasa composed of rich vegetable volutes and floral elements of rocaille taste. Mirrors were replaced in the 19th century.
The object, elegantly decorative, can be placed in any room of your house where it will return much brightness and refinement.
