"Limoges Porcelain Inkwell"
Old office inkwell, shuttle shape, in Limoges porcelain, with polychrome floral decor hand painted on a white background. The two inkwells, with gilded copper cover in the shape of curved foliage, are surrounded by five circular openings, bordered by a frieze in gilded copper, intended for feathers, pencil, wax stick and seal, which is present. In the middle a rectangular shaped housing for the powder to dry the ink. Empire style, around 1930. France
