"Pendulum Bronze Cherub Amour Mucisien Zither Globe I Empire XIXth"
Bronze pendulum with two patinas (black and gold) representing a Muscian Love playing the zither at the table under a broad-leaved tree, enameled dial with Roman numerals signed Thiéry in Paris surrounded by small bees, base decorated with an ancient mascaron and palmettes, on base and under globe, from the 1st Empire period - Restoration around 1815 at the beginning of the 19th century. This clock is in very good condition and is of exceptional quality. It is under the globe. We have his key and his pendulum, the movement works. The angel placed his attributes beside him (torch, laurel branch and his bow) in order to be able to play music. The sides of the pendulum are decorated with lyre. A note: two small shocks and a small slit at the back (see red arrows), slight scratches on the gilding and patina, the plywood on the base is slightly curled on the edges (not very visible), wear on the time, well look at the pictures.
