Born in 1894 in the Lyon region of Cours, the painter Dechelette was a building painter, had an original and engaging personality. His work is rare and precious. His paintings circulate little even though his paintings continue to be authoritative. Cataloged in naive art painters. In his works he focuses on the small details of everyday life with a very smooth rendering of the surfaces. He likes to represent the popular entertainment campaign. He died in Paris in 1964.
