Red lacquered corner cabinet
made in Venice in the first half of the 1700s.
The small corner cupboard is decorated with relief designs
inspired by typically Chinese landscapes as they were then in vogue
in the many imitations of oriental lacquers.
The shoulders and the door are wavy and the feet turned.
To open the door there was probably a wooden knob
later replaced by lock with key.
In a good state of conservation, it needs minor adjustments.
The sides, at the point of contact with the wall, measure 47 cm
