"At The Stable By Charles Jacque"
First member of the Barbizon School with Jean-François Millet and Théodore Rousseau, Charles Jacque (1813-1894) is famous for his representations of animals. His pictures of sheep are kept in famous museums such as the Musée d'Orsay or the National Gallery in Washington. "A l'Etable", reveals the spontaneity of the painter's manner and is one of his best versions.
