In medieval Jewish, Islamic and Christian legends, the seal of Solomon was a magic ring that the king of Israel Solomon (Sulaymân, taken in the Islamic version) was supposed to have possessed, and which gave him simultaneously the power to control the demons , the Efrits and the geniuses (jinn) or talking with animals.
