"Sculpture Saint Christophe Southern German Renaissance"
The sculpture is vigorous and has a very beautiful expression on all sides.The artist has created a real effect of movement. Saint Christophe is worked in a piece of wood, as it was customary among late Gothic sculptors, only the left arm is added. The young Christ is seated on his right shoulder, leaning his left hand on the head of the Saint.
The Saint Christopher carries a bread bag of his size, leaning his left hand on a pilgrim's staff.
Very good condition, the polychromy is original.
