"Curiosity Furniture In Hanging Marquetry"
Curiosity furniture in recycled wood. The 6 drawers are 18th century in mahogany and oak. The craftsman used transport crates from the 1900 period. (Wine, coffee, confectionery, etc.) Manufacturers, wholesalers and merchants thus succeeded in promoting their logos marked with iron and enhanced with ink (advertising of the time ). The marquetry work is therefore massive and my permit to identify it thanks to the backing of the pieces which had to be glued. The molding of the tray and that of the facade is soft. The work is colossal the craftsman reproduced the motif on the side, the facade and larger size on the tray. The trompe l'oeil and the perspective is remarkable. The interior is in new linen cloth from the 50s. Delivery possible not included in the price
