"Master’s Furniture."
18th century master's cabinet, walnut: small Louis xv cabinet. It opens with two curved doors with panels. It rests on four arched feet ending in winding. She wears a cornice in "gendarme hat". The upper crosspiece is carved with a star. These miniature pieces of furniture, but to scale, were the work of very young future companions in order to be evaluated by their Masters.
