Originally from Petrograd in Russia Vladimir Krivoutz arrived in Paris in the early twenties to take courses in Fine Arts. He began to exhibit his works at the show from 1925. A nomadic artist, he notably went through China and Indochina to finish his career in Brazil. The table we present here suggests the melancholy caused by the snowy landscapes of his native Russia.
