Black wood lacquered box, nashiji inside , decorated on the cover with a very finely chiseled silver plate decorated with two koi carp swimming on the surface of the water. It is signed in cursive Isha with a golden seal.Japan, Meiji/Taisho period (early 20th century).
Very small chips on the inside edge of the box.
