Nadal :

Nadal: "Le grand bouquet" Oil on canvas to restore 65 X 54 cm, mounted in a Parnassian carved and flocked gray frame 84 X 73 cm.
Circa 1930/40. Hooked on the canvas at the bottom with maybe a lack of paint, rubbed white on the frame.
Okay, okay, if all the painters signed legibly, indicating initial, even first name and (why not date and address), expertise and especially china would be less fun and exciting. But when it comes to a name as common as Nadal, it's a little frustrating.
After a careful examination of Bénézit, I would tend to favor two women, Marcelle and Thérèse, one born in 1897, the other in 1898, without choosing between the two because I did not see any images.
Very modern in its colorful vigor, this table is extremely attractive and, once restored, will find its place in a beautiful collection.
