Stanislas Wojcieszynski dit WOSTAN (1915 - 1989).
Painter and sculptor. He was born in 1915 in Kosmin (Poland).
At twenty he entered the Fine Arts of Poznan. Four years later he joined the Polish troops in France and was interned in a camp for French officers. His work, in some grandiose respects, is multifaceted and multitechnical. It was abstract and figurative, it can be considered a classic at the same time as a baroque. He mastered engraving, including his privileged one, that on wood.
He exhibited at the "Lara Vincy" gallery on rue de Seine in Paris.
The Musée de Grenoble dedicated a retrospective to him in 1965
