"Pendulum Columns Angelot Escarpolette Farcot Wood Bronze Napoleon III 19th"
Pendulum with blackened wooden columns and finely chiseled gilded bronze ornaments, decorated with a Amour or cherub with a escarpolette, so-called Farcot movement with pendulum swinging back and forth, from the Napoleon III period, 19th century. This pendulum is in good condition and is of high quality. We have the pendulum (with the cherub) but not the key. Farcot movement with two-wheel escapement (patent filed in 1862), allowing the pendulum to oscillate back and forth. The movement works perfectly, it has been completely revised by our watchmaker. A note: restorations on two of the ball feet (glued), some accidents and missing on the wooden veneer, the Roman numerals on the dial are slightly erased, scratches and wear of time, look at the photos.
