This model is referenced under the name "Versailles" in the book by Vitrat & Michel; "Legras, artistic and popular French glassware" (p.231) Conical vase on heel, short neck, satin green absinthe background and molded decoration of geometric patterns. The captivating shade of this vase is characteristic of the yellow-green color of ouraline. This particular material is also called "vaseline glass" among Anglo-Saxons, referring to the color of petroleum jelly marketed in the 1920s.
