"Portrait Of Man Plaster"
Portrait of man in plaster, green patina, in a wooden frame. Signed Louis Saint-Lanne. Sculptor born in Saint-Sever. Honorable mention in 1893 in Paris, at the Salon des Artistes Français. In 1907, Saint-Lanne became a member of the National Sculpture Society of New York. He produced four monuments in the United States, namely The Fountain of the Seals, a statue, American Boy (American Boy), both in New York, as well as equestrian statues in Charleston (West Virginia) and in Elkins (West Virginia). He lived in New York in 1939, and his name appears in the 1940 American art directory.
