Alexandre Bigot, born November 5, 1862 in Mer (Loir-et-Cher) and died April 27, 1927 in Paris, is a french ceramist specializing in architectural ceramics, representative of Art Nouveau.
A chemist by training and passionate about research on ceramics, he maintained correspondence with Jean Carriès, for whose work he showed great interest, and advice from Raphaël Tessier.
