"Silver Metal Bell"
5 silver-plated metal service bells with large ribs and fluted moldings, the richly chiselled fretel. Second half of the 19th century. Diameter: 26 cm - Height: 30 cm. For the oval set 39 cm long and 25 cm high. Some bumps on the gadroons are to be noted. . Rare to find a set with the dish warmer underneath. A mark on the perimeter marked silver and punches that we have not deciphered. The bell cover plate multiplies on the tables from 1750. Its use in a meal is called the service called "cloche plate", that is to say the plate in the kitchen before transporting it
