Art-deco : Two Gouaches "exotic Fish 1935"

Art-Déco: "Two exotic fish gouaches 1935" Gouache and pastel on paper with highlights of gilding and gum arabic, 13.5 X 19 cm and 16.7 X 16 cm.
For once, I cannot complain that it was not signed! Indeed, in addition to the contrasting signatures, there is just above the same in less visible pencil.
But hey, it's so stylized and linked that I don't decipher it.

I did find a lead with René Roussel, painter, illustrator and poster designer whose dates would correspond, but without any certainty.
The fact remains that these two fish are very funny and friendly and that the technique used puts them well in value.
Perhaps projects for the illustration of one of these small popular books which flourished at that time.
