Important French portico pendulum, Louis XVI period in white and turquin blue marble decorated with bronze. The dial is supported by 2 pillars in turquin blue marble, elegantly surmounted by 2 chiseled bronze vases, beautifully decorated with flowers. This pendulum rests on a rectangular base, decorated with a frieze in gilded bronze. At the top of the dial, we find a pilaster in turquin blue marble decorated with chains and a lion's head. Ringing on old bell for hours and a half hours. Original pendulum. The dial is in white enamel and is signed by the watchmaker Piolaines in Paris (reference watchmaker in tardy, dictionary of watchmakers).
