This large and important bookcase, made in England in the early nineteenth century, is entirely paved with mahogany feather and finely inlaid on the front of the lower doors, with neoclassical decorations such as vases, garlands and sunflowers.
The elegant bookcase consists of an upper part with glass doors and internal shelves.Architecturally it has a central part with two doors and two lateral portions, lower and curved, which create movement, decoration and gracefulness to the whole.The central lower part is in axis with the upper one, while the lateral ones are slightly backwards so as to enhance the movement and give pleasant proportions and lightness to the furniture.
This bookcase, of important dimensions, looks very decorative and pleasant;perfect in environments with antique furniture is also well matched to a furniture of modern taste.
