Superb and elegant console in gilded wood, 18th century. It rests on 2 arched feet at their base connected together by scrolls surmounted by a large carved and openwork shell. The openwork console base is decorated on the whole by scrolls of flowers and acanthus leaves of great finesse. The curved crosspiece on the front is fretted and openwork, decorated with a bouquet of flowers and finely chiseled acanthus. The transverse sides, also curved and perforated, are also decorated with acanthus leaves. The set is topped with a griotte red marble. Work of great quality and great finesse in excellent condition of conceration.
