Landscape painter, watercolorist. Pupil of Emile Lambinet, he participated in the Paris Salon from 1880, obtaining an honorable mention in 1882, a third class medal in 1888, a second class in 1895.
On the other hand, he received an honorable mention at the Universal Exhibition of 1889 and a silver medal to that of 1900 in Paris
