Marius Gueit (1877-1956), a native of Bordeaux, was a pupil of Louis Augin and Louis Cabié, renowned landscape painters Lovers of his region, he proposed numerous works representing the landscapes of the Landes and the Arcachon Basin and their forests of pines, but also landscapes of the Dordogne valley and the Lot valley.
