He first practices drawing. Representing imaginary subjects and staging more or less monstrous characters drawn in a realistic manner. From 1974 to 1975 he studied wood carving at the School of Fine Arts in Paris; but this technique does not meet his expectations. He also does a bit of acrylic and oil painting but his big revelation was the discovery of watercolor in 1983 "Whereas before I considered it a minor technique, it quickly caught my attention". With his watercolors Alain AZEMAR will participate in numerous exhibitions from 1985 Group exhibitions and trade shows such as: The exhibition of the Société Nationale des Beaux Arts in Paris, Salon de l'École Françaises Regional fairs: Sèvres, Ville d'Avray, Versailles… Personal exhibitions: The Galerie de la Geôle in Versailles, Galerie Médicis in Paris, Galerie Tuffier in Andelys, Evreux And at the municipal media center in Sèvres.
