Charming bust of procelaine biscuit representing a young woman. She wears a bun on her head, a dress revealing the birth of her chest and a stole closed by a bouquet of flowers. Work signed Raoul Verlet (1857-1923) and carries the stamp of the Raymon Laporte manufacture in Limoges. In 1882 Raymond Laporte left the factory which he operates since 1878 in association with Henri Ardant, rue Cruveilher, in Limoges. In 1883 he had a new porcelain factory built on the neighboring plot, the production of which he directed towards art porcelain. The Laporte factory was acquired in 1898 by Poinsot and Langle, the latter remaining alone in the management of the company after the death of his partner, in 1899. The factory was taken over by Batiot in 1902, then by the Michelaud brothers in 1906 , until it closed five years later. Period late XIX th around 1890. Some cooking cracks.
